Sunya I. Madrigal Alvarez Ugena a.k.a. Sunya Ratio.

Filmmaker, editor, and audiovisual creator. Awarded Best Cinematography for Dimensión Cero at MPIFF (Prague, 2020). Selected for Berlinale Talents Guadalajara, Directors LAB 2021. Received the Award for Best Experimental Short Film at the Andromeda Film Festival (Turkey, 2023). Her work has been screened in 12 countries, selected for 20 international film festivals with various projects, and has been a finalist at FICMA, MIC MX, and SHORTS MÉXICO. She has directed bachelor's degree programs in Audiovisual Production and Digital Art, and has taught classes and workshops at various universities in Mexico.​
